Welcome To Coventry Woods
Welcome to Coventry Woods, a diverse and cohesive neighborhood in East Charlotte. Who lives here? Bankers and business owners; professors and potters; mechanics and symphony musicians; sales reps and retirees. Coventry Woods includes families that moved in 40 years ago – and folks who just arrived.
We all love our proximity to the heart of Charlotte – we’re one traffic light from Uptown. We love our well-built homes and our spectacular canopy of trees. Our neighborhood is safe and stable; home values continue to rise.
And we love being a real community. The Coventry Woods Neighborhood Association is a voluntary-membership neighborhood association. Our neighborhood is made up of about 502 households. Many having been members for years. We encourage every household to join!
Our mission is to preserve, protect and promote Coventry Woods. Our board of directors works closely with CMPD to keep this neighborhood safe. Our board members, all unpaid volunteers, speak before the City Council on a variety of area issues, and work in other ways on behalf of this neighborhood, from code enforcement to filing a law suit against city hall to stop low-quality development.
Our strength is our membership – our neighbors. Our “wrecking crew” of volunteers is central to the success of the CWNA, whether distributing flyers or our Woods Watch newsletter, staging membership meetings, fund-raisers and improvement projects, or turning out for deliberations at the City-County Building.
Want to buy into our quality of life? We can help!

We are neighbors.
